in the advanced settings diagnostic there is a Networking menu this menu partly resets the network settings, it performs an dhcp at the chosen interface. To bad as I have fixed network settings.

Network healt does wht it should.

what should i find under that networking menu ?

Arch did this again .

I noted a clue if you have static ip it switches to echo ASAP you enter this menu and get itself an ip , how daft .

If you already are on dhcp you can enter this menu then the bug does not happen until the choose network menu then it dhcp itself again.

And now I have to ssh to the darn thing and fix my settings due to that other bug where static ip is not an option unless you turn of dhcp :-/
