Description tozz 2011-12-07 02:42:21 UTC
This bug is probably related to bug ID 4418:
https://bugs-archive.lyrion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4418

I've added a comment to this bug, but as 4418 is closed I doubt it was read by anyone, so I've opened a new bug:

When playing some FLAC files, the player crashes with 'Ran out of decoder memory'. With bug 4418 people were unable to reproduce it, but I found a FLAC file which lets me reproduce it anytime:

By playing this file to a SB classic, the device crashes instantly with 'Ran out of decoder memory'. I did not try other players:

http://www.tozz.nl/temp/sbcrash.flac (112 MB).

This is a dolby surround FLAC file that happend to be in my playlist. I am
aware that SB does not play dolby suround files, but it should not let the
device crash either.
