Description michael123 2011-11-22 22:36:03 UTC
I changed the network authentication on my router (from WEP to WPA2/AES), and since that point, any time I wanted to connect to the network, SB Radio tried using old parameters and always failed.

Every tablet/PC/cell in my apartment either detected the change automatically (e.g. for iPods and iPad I did not do anything at all), or I needed to push 'forget' and re-connect (PCs, android tablets)..

With Squeezebox Radio, however, the only way I found is to go to 'factory defaults' and then spend 30 minutes on re-configuring it.

Also, I missed the alarm. There was no network, and I did not get any indication that the alarm will not sound.. Even if the wav file is stored on the server, it shall fall back into some defailt, right?
Shall I file another bug for this?

I faced the exact same issue, when changing network security from none to WPA2PSK. I can no longer connect to the network. Only configuring a new network ID gets me into the menu to key in the pass phrase. Forget network would definitely be a good idea. I do not want to factory default the baby only to spend a lot of time to reconfigure it.
