For creating smart playlist with "seed" tracks .

MIP is dead .

It can still be implemented wih great patience, old users can have it as their tracks are aptly fingerprinted in the past and adding a new album is not that hard.

New users will have the following problems .

*Weeks of 24/7 fingerprinting running on the server or another faster machine conected to the server ugh .

*Associated software is abondonware and tricky to install and no one are picking up serious bugs as no support for utf-8 or similar issues.

*Another server software running in parallel on their server, not available to all platforms and wierd to non tech heads.

This is simply not available to a normal user it's geek tool .

(That said I'm implementing it, even if it have issues).

A replacement should be a server plugin that intergrates snuggly with some nice interface and settngs for seeding and creating smart mixes.

If anyone reading this have trouble to see the issues, I have my own n00b tread here where I vividly describes my shortcomings and issues trying to make it work :)
