Perl crash log

LogicTech Media Server crashes when doing its nightly scheduled "rescan for new
and changed media". The problem began with 7.7.0. It did not occur on 7.6.1.

It does NOT crash when doing a full scan, "clear library and rescan
everything."

It DOES crash if I manually initiate a "rescan for new and changed media"

I am attaching the system.log, server.log, and Perl crash log. (There were no
entries in the scanner.log file.)

Related to bug 16661? Same platform, same perl crash dump error?
