Description publicity 2011-11-10 00:20:40 UTC
When synchronizing SqueezePlay with any of my Squeezeboxes (Squeezebox Controller / Squeezebox Radio / Squeezebox Touch / ...), the Squeezeboxes stop/restart playing the audio stream every ~30s. During the interruption the Squeezeboxes display a message like "Buffer Update Error".
This behavior occurs since version 7.7.x. In 7.6.x the interruption timeout was about 2-3minutes; in 7.5.x the SqueezePlay synchronization feature worked correctly.
The Squeezeboxes / SqueezePlay are connected to the network with the Squeezebox Server Software running on a Windows 7.

Does SqueezePlay actually play at all, while synchronized?
Comment 3 publicity 2011-11-17 09:46:11 UTC
Yep, when synchronizing the Squeezeplay with any other Squeezebox device, it plays the desired audio stream.
In order to check this out, I've installed Squeezebox on an other machine. Interestingly the synchronization feature of the Squeezebox / Squeezeplay worked normally. Thus, I think it must be a problem with the hardware and/or network access of the affected machine.

Sorry, I didn't install Squeezebox on an other machine. I've installed SqueezePLAY on the other machine (it accommodates a NVIDIA High Definition Audio Device).

Anyway, I think it's really interesting that it worked with Version 7.5 without any problems.
