Description Daniel Barrett 2011-11-07 17:32:50 UTC
I've set up my server to do an incremental rescan every night. The next day, I look at the web UI and see the following odd message (this is verbatim):

Rescanning Music Library... Scanning changed files ( of 1)

This message never goes away, unless I restart the Squeezebox Server.

This didn't happen in 7.5.x.

Here's what the Information page says in the web UI:

Discovering files/directories: /Volumes/Music (22840 of 22840) Complete 00:00:16

Removing deleted files: /Volumes/Music (1989384) Running 196:24:33

Scanning new files: /Volumes/Music (0 of 1) Running 196:24:33

Scanning changed files: /Volumes/Music (0 of 1) Running 196:24:33

Abort scan
Comment 2 Daniel Barrett 2011-11-08 04:27:46 UTC
Clicking the "Abort scan" link in the web UI made the symptom go away.

This has long been fixed in 7.6.2 nightly builds and the official 7.7.0 release.
Comment 4 Daniel Barrett 2011-11-10 09:33:43 UTC
Thanks. Was the web UI supposed to inform me that 7.7.0 is out? It didn't. (And I think it used to do so.) Maybe this is another bug? I'm using the default skin.
