Bugzilla – Bug 17735
Fails to play audio after wake on LAN takes too long
Last modified: 2011-11-06 14:58:18 UTC
Firmware: 7.7.0-r9546 When computer running Squeezebox server is asleep, activating the radio causes Wake on LAN event that times out because the server takes more than the minimum number of seconds to wake (by about 2 or 3). It wakes up in about 7 seconds, after which the connection is established, and the catalog is visible. However, selecting and playing music (FLAC, but not sure it matters) does not create sound output, even though the display on the radio looks as though playback is occuring. The radio has to be rebooted before it plays music again (but it does play the power down / power up sounds).
