Bugzilla – Bug 17728
Web GUI Jumps to Track More Info on Playlist Play
Last modified: 2011-12-13 13:48:38 UTC
When pressing play on a track in the playlist in the web gui - the left hand pane jumps to 'more info' page for the selected track as if the 'M' button had been pressed. This is annoying and makes the 'M' button in the playlist superfluous.
Yes, I see this too.
I also see this with LMS 7.7.0 running on Linux Fedora 14 (VortexBox 1.10).
Let me investigate this... I thought I had been using that button all the time recently. Do you see it with any type of source (online radio, local music, music service etc.)?

Do you see it with any type of source (online radio, local music, > music service etc.)? Does this with local music and online radio. I don't use any music services so can't confirm.
Bizzare enough I have no problems in Firefox . Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 But I see the issue in chrome . In every kind of playlist Including spotify.
On Windows XP I see it in Chrome, Firefox 7.0.1 and IE 8. It only works correctly in Opera 11.51.
Just found that clicking the remove 'X' button in the playlist also has the same effect.

I have the same problem currently running 7.7.0 - r33614 on Ubuntu 10.04LTS. Checked with FF8 and IE8 on XP and W7. It says this bug is fixed but where is the link to the fix?
It will be in the next release, version 7.7.1, due sometime this month. Or, you can install the current beta version of that release: http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.7
