In most music systems the headphone detect switches off the audio to the speaker outputs, and switches the path to the headphones when they are plugged in. This is not happening in touch. The schematic shows there is a headphone detect line, but the output to the RCA jacks is not switched off when the head phone is plugged in. 

It is necessarily to use the headphone out on your speaker system to listen without disturbing others. If it has one.
