Description Finn Brodersen 2011-10-21 06:26:10 UTC
Hi

During a Fast Forward in a mp3 file (using the scroll-wheel on the SBController) the SBReceiver stopped playing and crashed, LED going a red-green-white cycle.

I'm not able to re-produce the problem, i.e. the bug/crash may be close to imposible to find and correct.

I have seen exactly the same way to crash when playing radio streams from radioio.com, maybe the two behaviours are related ?

SBServer Version:
7.6.2 - r33244 @ Tue Aug 30 02:03:56 PDT 2011
running on a WHSv1 HP490

Player Model: Squeezebox Receiver
Firmware: 77
Wireless Signal Strength: 46%

the crash can be repeated in about 5% of the cases.

please note the mp3 is about 128Mbyte, 1 track 67min at 256kb/s

Heh... wanted to ask you whether you could provide a sample file... that's a case for http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Large_File_Upload - thanks!

file uploaded

did not rename before, and not possible after, sorry

steps to reproduce (best chance)

1) power off both Receiver and Controller (physically remove power)
2) reboot both by applying power
3) start play track
4) play abount 10sec before press+hold FFWD
5) use scroll wheel and scroll forward, the track is 60+ minutes so no problem to scroll :-)

in about 5-10% of the cases, the Receiver stops the sound and crashes.
