Description canyoncarver 2011-10-16 08:03:31 UTC
Starting with 7.7 RC2, I have observed a problem with the button behavior on the SB Radio. When an alarm fires (any alarm, regardless of alarm impact on server function), the knob and buttons on the SB radio become "sluggish". For example, turning the large knob to choose between "snooze" and "disable alarm" will not respond properly.

Additionally, pressing the "back" button, which for several years now has resulted in audio continuing to play (but alarm disabled) no longer works. Pressing "back" results in a brief view of the artwork of the "now playing" item, then the radio turns itself off.

This is by design, so you don't accidentally stop the alarm while half-asleep.

Okay. Well, it has not been that way since the SB Radio was introduced so it would be nice if this was at least an option. When the alarm goes off I am completely awake and don't need to sit there fiddling with the knob on the radio for longer than needed just to tell it to snooze or turn off.

Also, this does not explain the loss of function when the alarm is going off and we select the "back" arrow to continue listening to music after the alarm has gone off.
