Description Dinanath Kumar Singh 2011-10-14 01:56:02 UTC
Seek playback is not working properly. Seek bar display is not
matching the song duration at the end of song in now playing screen.

Step to reproduce:
Connect the touch device to MOG
Search for any music either by any artist or album and song
Start playback
In now playing screen, move seek bar to different location, either forward or backword, particulaty towards end of the song.

We observed that seek bar is not matching with the duration of the song.

Note: Sothe time we observed that complete disapper of the seek bar.

Expected Result: Song should play according to seekbar movement.

Fixed bug 17650 and 17652, use bitrate returned by MOG API, fix seek
calculation to use the correct bitrate

Hi Andy,

I am able to reproduce this seek bar issue on latest fab version 7.7.0 r9550.

Please find the attached video "video-2011-10-19-16-51-00". In this video you can see that seek bar is totally disappeared and music is playing on. It is also updating the playback time completed.

I am also attaching the log file "messages_seek_fail_ver770r9550"

I am re-opening this bug.

Thanks,
Dinanath

I mean RC6 server. The fix for this bug is not part of SqueezePlay.

I have updated LMS server with build 33614 and Touch with 9550 and tested it. Is your fix is not incorporated in this build?

Dinanath - I think what you're seeing is bug 17650.
