One line of text scrolls oiver a fixed line so that one cannot read the page, i.e. there is a fixed and a moving page that interfere. I am using the Android App. on Android version 2.3.3. The problem renders the App. useless.

Please see bug 17528. There's a pre-release version which should fix the issue you're seeing.
