Description Brett 2011-10-02 19:18:29 UTC
Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64bit
LMS 7.7 Nightly 33540

1)folder structure on server such as :
C:\video\movie\title\movie.avi
2)navigate in to folder "title" on Samsung TV
3)try to use on screen "upper folder" or TV remote "back" button

Observed:
TV will just reload the current directory. Effectively "trapping" the user in the folder named "title". The only way to exit is to close UPnP application on TV and reload.

Subject says "...when in folder with valid video". Does it work in other cases? Or is this issue really limited to folders with playable content?
Comment 2 Brett 2011-10-03 02:23:00 UTC
Works in all other cases, only fails when there is valid video files in the folder.

Eg:
in C:\video\movie
I can go back to C:\video fine
Comment 3 Brett 2011-10-03 03:55:17 UTC
It might in some weird way be related to the fact **NO** video file works on the TV from LMS but works fine from the very very many other upnp/dlna servers I have tested.
All other programs can also step back fine.
Other servers include minidlna, mezzmo, twonky, tversity, ps3 media server, Windows Media Player, Wild Media Server.
