Description James Craig 2005-07-05 04:14:02 UTC
Because I run SlimServer from a cmd prompt the tray tool thinks it's not running.

I assume it's only checking that the SlimServer service is running.

Could it also/instead interrogate SlimServer itself?

I tried playlists only as well (for the first time).

This scan took only 3:15 of 100% CPU time (iTunes scan itself 2:45).

There weren't any drops in CPU usage for database commits here - didn't check
the players.

Will try again with music playing when I get a chance.

The new 'start on login' option on Slim Tray renders this request unnecessary!
