Immediately after installed 7.7.0 RC2 over 7.6.2, I changed a few tags and ran a "Look for new and changed media files" scan.  This ran OK until "Pre-caching artwork", which hung at the first item and stayed that way until I aborted the scan.

This is still happening after I resolved the problems described in Bug 17598.

Same for me on Windows 7 amd ReadyNAS using 7.7 RC4. New complete scan works as expected but any changes after that Pre-caching artwork hangs forever. Tempted to go back to 7.6.2 but have reorganised the media files to take advantage of new options.

Am still testing but it seems that changed Artwork is pre-cashed despite the hang.

Here's the tail end of the server.log file on the latest failure of a new & changed scan. It had six covers to pre-cache and hung up during (or after?) the first one.
