Description Philip Meyer 2011-09-25 05:20:17 UTC
I had an album "Alice In Ultraland" by "Amorphous Androgynous", correctly reported as a normal album.

I have other albums by "The Amorphous Androgynous", so for consistency I changed the artist of each track on "Alice In Ultraland" to be "The Amorphous Androgynous".

I then scanned for new/changed files, and after it completed, the album is reported as a compilation by album artist "Various Artists". Every track is by track artist "The Amorphous Androgynous", so it should not have been detected as a compilation album.

I expect that a full clean+scan will report the correct information.

Potentially related to new/changed music scans not running each step in sequence; reporting scan complete whilst it is still scanning files (see bug 17588).
