While typing content in search bar, search bar will disappear in portrait mode.
For each character hit on key-pad   search bar will move up-wards.

Works fine in Landscape mode.

Interesting find about portrait vs. landscape mode! Would the input field eventually move off the screen, rendering it invisible? Could you please provide a screenshot?

This should be fixed in the new build attached to bug 17528. Please give it a try!

still i am seeing this issue, i was searching for radio Pandora.
while typing alphabets search bar moving upwards and it disappear.

Samsung galaxy it works in landscape and Motorola milestone will work in portrait mode. 

its working as per design.
