Description Joerg Schwieder 2011-09-15 02:51:40 UTC
When the picture scanner (not music!) scans the attached file it hangs.

The file is too big to attach, please let me know when you've downloaded it so I can remove it from my server.

Thanks, I got the file.

This file doesn't hang for me, ffmpeg properly skips it because it's missing a moov atom:

ERROR SCANNING [...]bug17570-incomplete.mp4: [libavformat] Unable to open file for reading(code -3)

And the audio scanner handles it too:

ERROR SCANNING audio file [...]bug17570-incomplete.mp4: Unable to read tags from file

What platform are you on, though? I tested on OSX 10.6.
Comment 4 Joerg Schwieder 2011-09-15 06:44:05 UTC
OSX 10.6.8.

This file was hinging while scanning for pictures, not audio.
