Since a few days (or nights ) "Browsing album" is broken:

I chose the sorting order

artist => year => album


What I see is
=> All albums with "A" (artists name)
=> A feb albums with "B"
=> After "Bangles" ALL (!?) "Various Artists" album mixed up with the german band "BAP"
=> Starting with "Barbara" all the other albums in my collection

Why are the "Various Artists" Albums shown in a mixture just with this band "BAP"?
And why are they storted in THIS position?

Bug is to be seen in web UI as well as on SB Touch or SB Controller.

The "Various Artists" album are taged with "Various Artists" in the album artist/band tag ... compilation tag set to "1"

Files are MP3, LMS is running on Win 7

Did another clear rescan with  7.7.0 - r33459 - problem still occurs!

Problem happnes on Web UI, as well as on Touch, Radio and Controller - so it seems to be a database problem.

When I browse albums by artist I see:

BAM...
BANGLES
- A Mixture of BAP and VARIOUS ARTISTS -
BARBARA
BAS...

If I click "Various Artists" I get "Various Artists only", without the "mixture with BAP (german music group) ...

FWIW, I don't see this at all. I have an Mp3 mirror library in which compilation albums are tagged with

TCMP=1 and TSO2=_Various Artists (the underscore so that it sorts to the top on my portable Mp3 player). With album sorting set to 'Artist, Year, Album' they appear exactly where they should when browsing albums, between 'Vangelis' and 'Velvet Revolver'.
