Description Julius Dauz 2011-08-23 13:30:17 UTC
When listening to BBC world service through the BBC app, a message stating there is no current broadcast is played. When listening to the same stream using a URL, there is a broadcast currently being streamed.

These URLS seem to relfect the opposite of the stream from the BBC app

http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/meta/tx/nb/live/ennws.asx http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/meta/tx/nb/live/ennws.pls

Comment from bpa (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=90954):

This web page gives the various world service links

http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/institutional/2009/10/091029_internetradiomobilelinks.shtml

I think the BBC App should have the live World service link -
WMA http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/meta/tx/nb/live/eneuk.asx
MP3 http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/meta/tx/nb/live/eneuk.pls

This is the web page which gives BBC WMA stream
http://iplayerhelp.external.bbc.co.uk/help/playing_radio_progs/real_wma_streams

The text in BBC App for Radio 7 should be changed to Radio 4 Extra but
I think the URL didn't change http://bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r7.asx

The app uses http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/meta/tx/nb/live/www11.asx
This URL gives an HTML 404 error.
