Description Bob Koure 2011-08-22 10:37:50 UTC
1) have an album in the db, keyed to the artist's name
2) change that artist's name _in the tags only_ (change accent on vowel)
3) scan 'look for new and changed music'
4) look up that artist by the pre-change name
5) album is still listed
6) click on album
7) listed as 'empty'

Looks like a bit of cleanup got missed, but this might only happen when an accent is changed.
Note that the filepath for the files is not changed (I'm keeping all files named in the OS *without* accents to accommodate MusicIP, but have made an attempt to keep accenting correct in the tags.)
This could easily be some kind of edge case because the files aren't actually gone.
I'd consider it minor as a "scan everything' will fix it, but severity isn't my call, is it?

I've also had issues where tag changes were not reflected after new and changed scan. Details here: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=652027&postcount=11

I can't reproduce this. I originally thought I had, but my track had both ARTIST and ALBUMARTIST tags and I only changed ARTIST. Once I removed the AA tag it worked as expected (or if I changed both tags to the new name).
