Description Steve 2011-08-19 08:49:20 UTC
With my Squeezebox Radio I have two issues since the latest 7.6 firmware update:

1) I have alarm set to use nature sounds; i.e. topical or meadowlark. I am getting the "default" alarm going off instead of the nature sounds I a set. Very annoying.

2) On other occasions the "default" goes off when it should be nature sounds. I use the power button to turn off. Then about 20 seconds later the nature sound comes on.

In all of these occasions the SBR is attached to network correctly so I don't see a reason the default alarm should be going off.

Does 7.6.1 address this issue?

This is still happening on 07.6.1

I have similar problems. Sometimes my preset alarm sound is ignored as well as the alarm volume.

Once it also happened to me that although the alarm was evidently disabled woke up. It woke up with "default" sound and very loudly.

I think this can be caused by switching radio to my local squeezebox server and then back to mysqueezebox.com server.

It seems to me the SBR is confused then and alarm start to behave unexpectedly.
