Description Tom Mitchell 2004-01-29 10:14:55 UTC
I am a newbie so sorry if this bug is assigned to the wrong component.

I listen to a playlist comprised of lines like:

http://cyberbuzz.gatech.edu/wrek/stream/mpeg/week/wrek_live-128kb/Sun0200.mp3
http://cyberbuzz.gatech.edu/wrek/stream/mpeg/week/wrek_live-128kb/Sun0230.mp3
http://cyberbuzz.gatech.edu/wrek/stream/mpeg/week/wrek_live-128kb/Sun0300.mp3

Each of these should play for 30 minutes and then move on to the next one. At
least that's how MusicMatch, iTunes, and my AudioTron work. My new squeezebox
just keeps "playing" silence after the 30 minutes of music until I manually
advance the track in the playlist.

I have been doing some reading and tried to create a .pls playlist of the
following format which also plays the first file:

[playlist]
numberofentries=2
File1=http://cyberbuzz.gatech.edu/wrek/stream/mpeg/week/wrek_live-128kb/Sun0200.mp3
Title1=WREK Sunday 200am
Length1=3600
File2=http://cyberbuzz.gatech.edu/wrek/stream/mpeg/week/wrek_live-128kb/Sun0230.mp3
Title2=WREK Sunday 230am
Length2=3600

When I download one of the files to my local server and play it from there, it
plays fine and is 27.5MB in size.

I believe that this bug has been fixed in the latest nightly builds. Can you verify with that version?

Seems to work fine. Thanks. I looked through the bugs and didn't see it in
there, so I am sorry if it is a dup.

One question: should I remove the current version of slimserver when installing
another build?

Thanks for your prompt attention.

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
