Bugzilla – Bug 17395
Support for /music/current/cover.jpg lost
Last modified: 2011-08-03 01:00:12 UTC
From the forum: The URL used to be structured thusly: http://192.168.0.xxx:9000/music/current/cover.jpg&player=XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX I've noticed that multiple 3rd party apps I'm using are no longer showing artwork as of 7.6 and I've tried going to that URL in a browser only to find it doesn't exist. Is this gone? Or is it just a bug? Has it been changed? Seems like a nice feature to have and I'm surprised it's gone now since it seems to breaking multiple apps. Where is information like this documented? I had to do a lot of digging to find this, couldn't find much actual info on the wiki. I've tried the official release of 7.6 for linux as well as the latest nightly rpm. Artwork shows up in the Squeezebox server software when I look at it in the browser, so I'm not being hit by the artwork bug that others have been having lots of trouble with. Looking at the code there's an XXX and a lot of room for code...
