Description Properjob 2011-08-01 08:37:12 UTC
The release of SBS 7.6 has resulted in the paring of several skins aka interfaces and the only ones left are "default", "classic" and "light".

None of these are good on my Blackberry. I can't comment on other smartphones although I have used iPeng on the iPhone and found it excellent.

See thread http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87157

Please consider reinstating suitable skin(s) for smartphones - I liked the "handheld" one as it was simple, worked and did album art.

I'm sorry that those skins needed to be removed. But maintaining them became too much work.

Throw away the default skin and maintain fishbone. Fishbone loads much, much faster than the default skin and has more functionality. If that is too much work to update fishbone, then please add "add next" as an option to the slow, inferior default skin.

It's not clear what advantage their is to upgrading to LMS from 7.5 anyway. 7.7 removes useful skins and has big problems rebuilding the database with large libraries. It seems that the newer versions have also driven away most of the 3rd party developers.

This is an awesome product with a devoted following. It looks like someone does not recognize what it is you are losing. Do the people who decided to get rid of Fishbone even use the product?
