Description Jan Omdahl 2011-08-01 01:51:31 UTC
The lack of support for 192 khz 24 bit audio is a serious issue for audiophile users of SB gear. As more 192 khz files become available, the lack of support in Transporter and Touch players may force audiophile users to switch to other platforms.

A simpe fix would be a firmware upgrade that allows transparent passthrough of 24/192 audio to the SPDIF output. Most users interested in playback of 24/192 will already have their own external DACs, so there is no need for onboard 24/192 processing.
