If you browse by artist you see all albums on which the artist appears, including compilation albums and albums with guest appearances. However, if you then browse into 'All Songs' the song list does not include tracks from those same albums.

I forgot to mention that in 7.5 and earlier, songs from these other albums are included in All Songs.

I am trouble reproducing this.

Case 1.
Artists / Various / Foo contains a track X by artist-A
Artists / artist-A shows Foo as well as other albums
Artists / artist-A / All Songs includes tracks X

Case 2.
Artists / artist-B / album-Y / track-Z includes a Track Artist, artist-C, different from the Album Artist, artist-B
Artists / artist-C / All Songs includes track-Z

Tested with Web and SP UIs

Alan, thanks for taking a look. I see the tracks now too. I'm not sure what's going on. Closing.
