Description Robert K. 2011-05-28 22:26:16 UTC
SB Touch, HW version 5, SBOS 7.5.4 r9408.
This problem is intermittent and no procedure has been found to reliably reproduce it. However the following scenario has been observed.
Client: SB Touch
Server: Vortexbox 1.9

Start the SB Touch when the SB Server (Vortexbox) is not up. Switch the library to www.mysqueezebox.com and play an internet radio station. Then boot up the Vortexbox and command the SB Touch to switch libraries to the Vortexbox. Select "My Music", select a song and play the song. The SB Touch display shows that the song is playing, with the elapsed time counter counting up but no audio signal is produced from the SB Touch. Select other songs and play them. Again, the display indicates that a song is playing but there is no audio signal. Finally, move through the UI to the top menu and choose "Favorites", then play a selection from Favorites. The SB Touch will begin to produce an audio signal and it will play songs from My Music correctly.

Please leave this bug UNCONFIRMED and assign it to me until I can find a test case that will reliably reproduce it.

To reproduce this bug:
Shut down any Squeezebox servers.
Boot up the Squeezebox Touch.
Select Internet Radio, then Local.
The Squeezebox Touch will display a message saying that the local Squeezebox Server is unavailable and will query the user whether she wants to connect to mysqueezebox.com.
Select the choice to connect to mysqueezebox.com, then select an internet radio station and begin playing it.
While the Squeezebox Touch is playing the internet radio station, boot up a local Squeezebox Server.
After the server has booted up navigate to the main menu on the Squeezebox Touch and select My Music. The Squeezebox Touch will display, "You have made a selection that will connect to a different library which will stop playback", and will provide a selection, "Switch to library: mybox.localdomain".
Select the choice to switch the library.
The internet radio station will stop and the Squeezebox Touch will display its top menu. Select My Music. The S.T. will display the bottom of the My Music menu for some reason.
Select Albums, then an album, then the first song on the album.
The S.T. will display the song being played, with time advancing, but there will be no sound.
