Description Jim McAtee 2011-05-17 11:42:04 UTC
I forgot to add DISCNUMBER tags to a new two disc album, with files from individual discs located in 'Disc n' subdirectories of the album folder. Upon running a library scan it was seen as two separate albums, as would be expected due to the tagging mistake.

After adding DISCNUMBER tags (and allowing the files' mtime to be updated) I ran a new & changed scan, but the album still remained split.

Only after running a full clear and rescan was it seen as a single album.

Jim - do you still see this with the latest nightly build?
Comment 2 Jim McAtee 2011-07-25 02:50:17 UTC
Yes. I do see that it the scanner does pick up the DISCNUMBER tags, as they're displayed if you have a TITLEFORMAT that includes DISCNUMBER, but it still shows two albums.

Although fixing this should remain a goal for the future, it may not be necessary to target it for 7.6.0.
