Bugzilla – Bug 17166
7.6.0 Mini SB Server unable to see contents of second folder
Last modified: 2011-05-20 16:47:00 UTC
Attach a USB Drive to the SB Touch and start up the Squeezebox Server on the Touch (7.6.0-r9426 Firmware). Connect a player to the Squeezebox Touch Server (USB). Navagate to My Music/Music Folder/ Select a folder with another folder inside. (Such as Soundrack/Firefly, etc) Inside the second folder there should be music files but the SB Touch Server does not see them. All that comes up is the name of the folder at the top and under that it says "Empty". This does not take place on the normal SBS Server (7.6.0-r32302). With this you can have multiple folders inside folders to organize your music. But on the Mini SB Touch server, having more than one folder in a path causes the server not to show the files in the second folder. This also does not take place on the 7.5.4-r9408 version of the Mini SB Server.
Tested here with 7.6.0 r9432 and I can see folders in folders and the music inside the second folder. Can you see the music files if you move them into the main folder? What I mean is are these music files TinySC detects at all?
I cannot reproduce this. I tried with r7.6.0 r9430. I can browse several levels down in directories under My Music / Music Folder and play files at any level. I tried with both the Touch itself as the client player and a Boom.
Tested once more - working fine on 7.6.0/r9443.
Fixed in 7.6.0, R9443. Closing.
