Description Simon 2011-04-19 11:19:34 UTC
HI,
Both my controller and my radio have the same issue. When playing an album with multiple artists they display the same cover/album art. Typically its the first tracks cover art.

When experimenting I removed the cover art from the first track in the album and like magic all the tracks in that album displayed the correct cover art for the song.

All cover/album art is stored in the ID3 tag - not as cover.jpg or anything in the folder itself.

As mentioned before the web server displays correct cover art per song and strangely enough so does the iPeng app on the iPhone. It appears only the Radio, Touch and Controller are affect by the bug.

Please could this bug be resolved as im sure a lot of other people have the same issue and its nice to see the correct cover art for the song playing.

Kind Regards & Good Luck

I look forward to reading this as a bug fix on version 7.5.5 LOL

Simon

Tested and confirmed, broken in 7.5 SqueezePlay. The problem is also discussed in the 'Rethink Artwork' bug 9919, comment 28.

However, it works correctly in the onebrowser branch (current 7.6 builds).

The general "model" used for artwork in SbS has been that it is album artwork, not track artwork. A UI may legitimately use a mechanism analogous to track->album->coverArt to determine what artwork to use for a track.
