Firmware up date issues for 7.5.4

For the most recent FW update to 7.5.4 several of my players would just begin the download then almost immediately report problem with update and display the retry menu. Selecting retry repeatedly got the same result. It was necessary to power cycle the players before they could successfully perform the update. This occurred. on 2 of 3 players I updated at home (1 radio 1 touch)and on 2 of 8 players in the office. I did not note the previous state of the units at work but the players at home had both been on and idle just prior to attempting to do the update. The one at home that was successful on the first try had been in standby and then had been turned on and updated. The Call center data from RightNow has some reports of of update issues, but there are always a few for every update.
Can you get a log?
Will my players at home still have a valid log file after a day? Sorry I lost track of which one in the office had the issue.
They will not. You need to reproduce the issue on another machine and then pull the log. My hunch is that it's an OOM issue because you needed to reboot to make it work, but a log would help a lot with understanding.
Some customers are seeing this as well here is a post from right now S firmware update on touch fails. during dl it stucks at 0% then he gets error message, update error. he can not leave this menue firmware 7.54r9394 hardware version 5 ethernet connected any idea how we may continue. thought about to install sqbox server and down or upgrade, but there for he should be able to connect it and he cant enter menue.
