Bugzilla – Bug 17108
NP Panel not updating when using more than one player on Touch Server
Last modified: 2011-04-08 08:07:33 UTC
On the Droid (Android 2.2.2) and Motorola Xoom (Android 3.0.1) when accessing more than one player connected to a SBS Touch Server, the Now Playing Panel retains the artwork and title of the first player you connected to. Start up a SBS Touch Server with a USB Library. (Thumb drive, external drive, etc) Connect 2 other players to the Touch Server. Using Eastman (1.1/r8317) connect to the first player, go into My Music/Albums and play an album. Go to the Now Playing Panel to see the track name and cover art. Select the Choose Player bar and select the second player connected to the Touch Server. It opens up to the now playing panel with the same track info and artwork. This last for about 30 seconds and then clears out. Still on the second player Use the back button to go to the Home Panel. Choose My Music/Albums and select a different album to play. On the Now Playing Panel it still shows the Track and album art from the first player. The Volume controls the second player but the Track info, art and even the track progress bar reflects the album on the first player. Hitting the fWD button on the first player even shows the track advancing in Eastman even though the choose player bar still shows you are viewing the second player. If you select the Playlist button in Eastman while having the second player selected it will show you the proper play list. Hitting the back button however still shows you the track and art from player 1.
