I had an issue with Now Playing updating when using two phones to control 1 Radio. I used phone A to navigate to Pandora station (wifi) and then used phone B to change to local radio station (KQED FM, 3g connection while in car). Then I used phone A to view Now Playing for this Radio (wifi only), and it showed only Now Playing for previous Pandora screen. Nothing I could do would get it to update. I used phone B (wifi+3G) and Now Playing appeared correct.

Running version r8318. Attaching movie from digital camera.

I have seen the same thing though it did change after a minute or so. Or when I went to landscape, etc. After that it changed on both phones fine.

I agree that this is most likely all the same issue. Whether 3g or two phones or mysb or sbs does not really matter. Sometimes it just gets stuck randomly. It's that last open case I described in bug 17088 I can't get a handle on :-(.
