Description karatecletus323 2011-03-25 11:48:57 UTC
I am running Android v. 2.3.2, and would like to request a menu option to manually specify the IP address and port of the local Squeezebox Server.

The automatic scan is unsuccessful in locating my local Squeezebox Server and I am only presented with the options "Yes" to retry, or "No" which exits the application. Wi-fi is enabled on the phone, and it is connected to the same router as the Windows Home Server running Squeezebox Server v. 7.5.3 - r3179.

Both devices have an IP in the same subnet:
WHS - 10.1.1.100 (IP reservation via MAC Address)
Phone - 10.1.1.229 (obtained from router via DHCP)

Both are using the same router as their gateway, the same /24 Subnet Mask, and Google's public DNS servers for name resolution.

The Squeezebox Server is running on port 9001, due to a conflict with Twonky Media Server running on port 9000.

I have also have the same result on a phone running android 2.2.

I am able to connect to the server and control my players by manually specifying the server IP and port when using independently developed controller applications like Squeeze Commander.
