Description Jay Berkenbilt 2011-03-14 14:35:41 UTC
I'm describing behavior that I see using my squeezebox radio and also using my squeezebox server running debian gnu/Linux 6.0. Based on the small amount of debugging I've been able to do, I believe the problem is on the software that runs on mysqueezebox.com, which is why I have posted my bug on this product/component rather than against squeezebox server or squeezebox radio. If you feel that I have posted the bug in the wrong place, please feel free to move it or to ask me to post it elsewhere. Now the details...

I registered for an account on classical.com and added the classical.com app in my mysqueezebox.com account. I created a couple of custom playlists, one called "howells" containing the Requiem by Herbert Howells and Tocatta by Einojuhani Rautavaara, and a second one called "qplay2" containing only the Rautavaara Tocatta, though those details are likely not important.

From my squeezebox radio, when I navigate to the classical.com menu, I am able to see "Themed Playlists", "Shared Playlists", and "My Playlists". I can enter Themed Playlists with no problem, and most (but not all) of the playlists work fine. However, when I enter "Shared Playlists", I see "CLASSICAL_ERROR_PARSE" on my screen, and when I enter "My Playlists", I see the list of playlists I have created (indicating that the classical.com app is clearly seeing my account) but selecting any playlist also results in "CLASSICAL_ERROR_PARSE".

It is not a problem with the playlists themselves since I am able to access them fine from the classical.com website, and it's not a problem with accessing my account since I am clearly able to see the names of the playlists I have created.

I did a few minutes of debugging by looking at Classical/ProtocolHandler.pm on my squeezebox server but was only able to determine that the error is either generated by the software on mysqueezebox.com or possibly in parsing the response to something under http://www.mysqueezebox.com/api/classical/v1/opml.

I see the problem whether I connect my Squeezebox radio directly to mysqueezebox.com or whether I connected it to my squeezebox server.

Other relevant details:
 * software version: 7.5.3 r9283
 * squeezebox radio model number: X-R0001

I'm attaching a screenshot of my using my squeezebox server on port 9000 to control my squeezebox radio and attempting to navigate to "Shared Playlists". I can also reproduce the problem with the "remote control" by connecting to mysqueezebox.com.
