Description Bill 2005-06-19 11:00:01 UTC
Slimserver slows down my computer CONSIDERABLY, maxing out my CPU so I have to kill the 'perl'
process. Also, how the heck do you uninstall this software? I've seen others posting with the same
concerns, but so far...no answers to be found anywhere.

is this actually on a mac? I thought you just move the icon to trash to uninstall.
Comment 2 Blackketter Dean 2005-06-19 21:31:30 UTC
To uninstall on the mac, visit Library -> PreferencePanes and drag the SlimServer icon to the trash, or
control-click on the icon in System Preferences.

There is a slow down during initial scan, but it should be a temporary
phenomenon. Please reopen this bug with more information (actions, platform, OS
flavor, etc.) if you're still running into problems.
