Bugzilla – Bug 16872
"Ran out of decoder data memo" error with Rhapsody
Last modified: 2013-05-17 18:47:02 UTC
Customer was finally able to access "my music." Can also play "Internet radio" fine Will do this when it gets an IP address if the last thing they did was Rhapsody. When this happens you have to press the "back/left" arrow button to get back to setup squeezebox and choose your music source ***Just don't touch Rhapsody.*** From customer "Almost acts like a virus." see reference number 110202-000966
Had a customer with a Duet call in with an issue using the Rhapsody APP. When he opens the APP it shows all his libraries, after selecting a tune to play, the controller shows it is connecting, the receiver light starts flashing red, then finally stops on the blue. The controller eventually just pops upa box saying "STOPPED" Customer is able to access and stream all other APPs.
I'm receiving the "ran out of decoder data memory" error when I try to play songs through my Rhapsody account. I'm using a Netgear ReadyNAS Duo as my SquuzeBox server. I recently updated to 7.5.2 and am not 100% sure, but think the problem started after the upgrade. SqueezeBox Boom Information =========================== Player Model: Squeezebox Boom Firmware: 51 SqueezeBox Server Information ============================= Version: 7.5.2 - r31632 @ Mon Dec 13 13:06:54 PST 2010 OS: Netgear RAIDiator - EN - utf8 Platform: sparc-linux Perl Version: 5.8.8 - sparc-linux MySQL Version: 5.0.24a-Debian_3.infrant1
Sorry I forgot to include this is happening with the Firmware 52 for my previous post
I have two SB classic firmware 132 connected to mysb.com (no local server) and both act up the same way. Attempting to play any Rhapsody track results in "Ran out of decoder data memory" and then the device reboots. I actually was listening to a Rhapsody track on one device when suddenly the music stopped with this message. At first I thought it was a hardware problem but the second SB acts up as well. No Rhapsody for me.

Works ok now
