The attached bog-standard .mp3 file crashes my server and scanner. It plays
just fine on every other player I have tried it on.

Navigating to the directory containing this song crashes the server, no matter whether via the web interface or the SB2 player (firmware 130). The scanner also dies when it encounters this file (it is the last line of the logfile).

I have other songs from the same source which will probably also cause the same problems. To prove that I would have to test each one individually, and I have not done that. I simply tested with the smallest file.

The loss of functionality is that I cannot play these songs, which would perhaps be a bug of Normal importance. OTOH, it does crash the server, so perhaps it should be of Critical importance.

I suspect this bug is related to the previous bug that I filed, whereby some streaming links crashed the server. Other links to other directories on the same internet streaming server did not. The attached song is from that same internet server. Anyway, this problem is easier to reproduce.

Are you running 7.4.1? I don't believe 7.4 is being maintained any longer. You may want to upgrade.

This file scans and plays fine for me in 7.5 trunk. One unusual thing in the tags is that the TLEN (Length) frame is set to 0.

I upgraded to 7.5.2, and sure enough, everything works fine now. Please feel free to reject this bug report. Sorry for the trouble.
