When setting the alarm sound, you can navigate to the alarm sound menu and reset the sound you want to use, and preview the various sounds. But there is no indication as to which sound is selected before you navigate to select it. There should be an item that says CURRENT ALARM SOUND. You need to check each of the four alarm categories to see what sound is selected. 

If you use MSB.com to set your alarm it is very clear what your alarm sound selection is.   Alarm Sound
