Description Mickey Gee 2010-12-31 08:21:28 UTC
Using Radio with firmware r9245, playing Napster tracks were audibly stuttering after a playing a track for 10-15 seconds. Seen when Radio connected only to MySB.com. Seen only when Radio connected to Squeezebox Server (7.5.3 beta).

Seen when playing Top 100s->Tracks, Top 100s->Albums, My Napster->Artists. I think it's when playing any track, but I haven't tried them all.

Audio on stuttering track eventually not heard at all, even though Now Playing shows track is still playing. Pressing FWD to go to next track starts audio for next track OK, but stuttering -> silence cycle begins again.

Log with audio.* enabled enclosed.

Comment 2 Mickey Gee 2010-12-31 09:11:20 UTC
Stuttering disappears when audio.* logging changed from DEBUG to WARN.
Comment 3 Andy Grundman 2010-12-31 09:25:39 UTC
WMA logging is excessive when set to debug.
Comment 4 Michael Herger 2012-02-22 07:11:48 UTC
RIP Napster
Comment 5 Andy Grundman 2012-02-22 10:27:03 UTC
This is not strictly a Napster bug.
Comment 6 Alan Young 2012-02-22 23:44:15 UTC
Maybe, but surely it is still reasonable to close?
