Bugzilla – Bug 16746
No audio for 181.fm stream after playback stopped unexpectedly
Last modified: 2011-01-14 12:52:21 UTC
Bug 16745 submitted for unexpected end to playback of stream 181.fm Christmas Classics. Stream is WMA. Played on Radio with firmware r9262. After this bug occurred, pressing Play to restart audio resulted in no audio for stream. Pressing Pause and Play repeatedly had no change, nor did increasing volume. Will have to pull AC plug on Radio to correct problem. Log enclosed for period immediately after bug 16745 that pertains to this issue.
Created attachment 7065 [details] Log with audio.*, net.slimproto, net.comet set to DEBUG
Also note that with audio.* set to DEBUG, the Now Playing screen should show percentages when Play is pressed and the audio stream resumes. After this bug had occurred, the percentages did not show at all when Play was pressed. It did show after AC was pulled and reinserted for the Radio.
Have you reset the player? If not, can you start playback using WebUI or another UI (possibly choosing a different station).
The Comet connection to mysqueezebox.com seems to get screwed up, as evidenced by lines such as this: Dec 22 14:10:30 squeezeplay: WARN net.comet - Comet.lua:876 Comet {mysqueezebox.com}: _response, /slim/request id=nil failed: invalid clientId Dec 22 14:10:30 squeezeplay: DEBUG net.comet - Comet.lua:884 Comet {mysqueezebox.com}: _response, advice updated from server Dec 22 14:10:30 squeezeplay: DEBUG net.comet - Comet.lua:953 Comet {mysqueezebox.com}: _response, got data for an event we aren't subscribed to, ignoring -> /request These repeat. I cannot work out what could be going on here,
I reset the player, but I reran the test overnight and got into the same state -- player in Stop state. I logged onto MySB.com and remote control saw player in Stop state too. Pressing Play restarted playback properly, and subsequent pause/play presses on remote control worked as expected. Let me know if there's other logging flags or debug scenarios I could create to assist in further understanding this issue.
