When browsing by Genre (for instance), how difficult would it be for the next level to be Albums 
instead of Artists? Not necessarily to replace Artist as an option, but to have a preference in the 
Server settings for Artist or Album.

Another option would be to add a level after selecting Genre to select either Artist or Album. Then 
you wouldn't have to access the server as frequently.
