Description suasol 2010-11-18 16:12:37 UTC
Allow the loved status to be visible so that remotes can highlight when a playing track has already been loved.

This is needed for e.g. http://sqcmdr.no-ip.org:9999/ticket/222, copied and pasted below.

When using the last.fm player, it would be great if the love icon would show when a track has been previously loved.

For instance the last.fm web player love icon is a brighter red when playing loved tracks. Clicking the button toggles between "loved" and "normal". It's quite subtle, perhaps plain red/plain white would be better for squeeze commander.

And reply:

I cannot implement this on the SqueezeCommander side, it needs to be implemented on the SqueezeBoxServer side, because LastFM does not give out the necessary info right now.

E.g. it should already work with Slacker, because Slacker DOES already make a difference between Loved/Normal?, but LastFM does not.

Please file a ticket in the SBS tracker:
 https://bugs-archive.lyrion.org/

Once it is implemented on the SBS side, it should work with SqueezeCommander, the WebUI, iPeng and so on.
