Description Tony Falzone 2010-11-10 13:20:51 UTC
I have a Squeezebox Duet and 2 Squeezebox Booms. To say the least I think this is great technology but believe logitech is missing out on a major market segment into whic to sell. Your focus sems to be on the audiophile(?). The Sports Enthusiast especially the colege sports enthusiast is a merket Logitech needs to exploit with this product. There are 100's of Division I, II, and III athletic teams which broadcast there games over student radio stations virtually all of these student stations stream their sports coverage to the internet over their web site. Many also have their sporting events broadcasting by a local radio station who may also be streaming their coverage over the internet as well. There are millions of college graduates out of the local air listening area who would use your products to listen to the internet stream coverage in most cases the student station coverage.

These steams are not avaialble quite often through such organizations as Shout cast and Radio Time which are currently apps for Squeezebox.

Sometimes the colleges make their streams available to things such as Sportsjuice or Game Central by Stretch Internet. These web sites and similar should become apps or more broadly Logitech needs to develop an app to allow the listening of these college student sports stream if not also the local commercial stream.

Again there are millions of college graduates if not just plain sports enthusiasts who would buy your product to listen to a game halfway across the continent and not be toed to their PC's. You should go after this market.

Sincerely,
Tony Falzone
