Description Kris Murphy 2010-10-11 15:56:20 UTC
Tapping the player name to change to a different player doesn't work if the screen is scrolled at all. This seems to be true on any screen that is scrollable, and in any orientation.

Device: Nexus One

Can reproduce this issue - on Android only :-(
Comment 2 Michael Herger 2010-10-13 08:00:48 UTC
IMHO this is an Android bug: while the select itself is shown at its place, the touchable area triggering the list to be shown seems to be scrolled up with the content.

I've spent another hour on this without finding a solution. I'd like to defer this to Eastman...

The Samsung Galaxy seems to handle this a little differently than the Nexus one. On the Galaxy the player name and service name scroll with the rest of the screen. On the Nexus One the menu items scroll behind the player/service name in the header.

So this defect isn't near as confusing on the Galaxy since it's fairly obvious that the list is scrolled when you go to a new screen, but on the Nexus it may be hard to tell that there are menu items hidden behind the header depending on the position of the list.

Nexus One: Android 2.2.1
Galaxy: Android 2.1-update1

Sorry, that last sentence is referring to a different defect (16600).
