Short movie showing the effects

Just noticed an oddity with my Controller battery indicator. I'm on 7.6/r9143.

Recently I realised that the battery would be empty withing only a few hours
(2-3?). I wasn't surprised. This is a pre-production unit, the battery might be
3-4 years old.

But much more irritating is the behaviour of the indicator: When it comes out
of standby mode, the indicator would show a full battery. Seconds later it
could be half empty. And as soon as the display is dimmed, the indicator would
give "one more level" of fullness again.

I replaced the old battery with a new one, and see the same behaviour.

Ok, on the video it's only full for a very short time (fraction of a second),
but I guess you get the idea :-)
