When on standby on battery power, the Radio turns full off after 40 (or 20?) minutes. This time should be configurable. 

I suggest options of 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 60, 90 minutes, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 hours.

There should probably also be an override when running low on battery. Maybe 10 minutes when battery is less than 10% full, 5 minutes when less than 5% full.

I would add a "disable" to the timings Lars suggested

I would also like to extend the power saving time out. I use my Radio near the pool, but I have to place it far enough away that it won't get splashed. But then if it is set to pause for more than 20 minutes, someone has to get out of the pool to turn it back on from deep sleep. :-(
